Adam is head of Mine Economics working within the Metals & Mining Research team at S&P Global Market Intelligence. He is responsible for managing the team of analysts who work on the Mine Economics product as well as developing the product itself. The primary focus of the Mine Economics team is building asset level production and financial models of mining operations across the globe and using this data to provide valuable insight to our clients both from access to the data itself and from research articles written by our team.
Prior to joining S&P Global Market Intelligence Adam spent four years working as a geologist in Western Australia. During this time he worked on active iron ore mine sites as well as exploration and development properties which helped him develop a detailed understanding of the practicalities of the mining industry. He has a BSc in Earth Science from the University of Wales Aberystwyth and an MSc in Geochemistry from the University of Leeds.
